It's Been How Long?!

Hi, friends and family! Hope you all are doing well. Yes, I just realized I haven't posted a new entry to my blog in weeks. Yikes! You can blame that on Facebook! Ha! I must say, Facebook is pretty cool, though, and I'm glad I joined!

Well, the Rogers household is staying quite busy these days. As many of you know, our house sold a few weeks ago, and we have been in the process of finding us a new place to call home. Thankfully, the Lord led us to a nice piece of land not far from here, and that land has a great house on it. Long story short, we just signed the papers today on our new house, and we will close on April 9th! We are so blessed, and God is so good! We can't wait to move in and make it our home!

Blake, Easton, and Parker are doing well. Blake and Easton are playing baseball this spring, and they both are more than excited to get started. Blake has his first practice tonight, and Easton's practices should start soon. I took Parker to his 4 month check-up a couple of weeks ago, and he already weighs 18 lbs! Say what?! I think my sister's one year old weighs 20 lbs. On another note, I just got finished filling out Blake's kindergarten enrollment forms. Where is the time going? I just can't believe he will start kindergarten in the fall. So surreal!

Michael and I are doing well, too. Michael is keeping very busy at work. The school's baseball season just started, and he is their head coach again this year. Also, the school and church are in the process of purchasing a large outdoor sport's complex; so, alot of Michael's time has been focused on that project. We are really pumped about it! I am thoroughly enjoying my Bible study up at the church. We are doing the study of "Esther" by Beth Moore. It is phenomenal, and I am learning so much. She is an excellent teacher and knows so much about the Word. I would absolutely love to hear her in person someday.

Well, there is just a little update on what is going on with us. I better get going...the boys are napping, and I really should be getting some things done around the house. We will be busy the next couple of weeks...lots of packing and moving to do. I sure will miss this house but so excited about our future and our new house! Love you lots, and I pray you all are doing well.
