These are pictures of Michael's birthday party last Saturday evening. We decided to stay home and have the party there, and my family came over to help celebrate. We all had such a nice time! Michael requested that I make his new favorite dinner: roast beef, mashed potatoes, and gravy; so, I made the roast, and mom made the mashed potatoes. Everything was so yummy! Then, we all enjoyed "Mee-Maw" cake. You are probably all wondering what "Mee-Maw" cake is, right? Well, I got the recipe from Michael's mom awhile back, and it is a cake that Michael grew up eating. It is chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and it is so delicious! Michael had such a nice birthday, and we would like to give a big thanks to friends and family for all of the phone calls, cards, and gifts. We love you all!
