Blake Turns Five!

Today was Blake's 5th birthday, and we had so much fun celebrating! Above are some pictures of our great day. We began the morning with cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and then we got ready and headed off to Pump It Pump for an hour and a half of jumping on their inflatables. After working up a big appetite, Blake chose to eat his birthday lunch at McDonalds. After lunch, we went to Academy sports to spend his birthday money (thank you, Grace!). Blake was looking for a specific item: a punching bag! We were so happy, because they had one left. Needless to say, the boys spent most of the afternoon playing with the new punching bag! They, also, enjoyed playing outside and eating cupcakes! So, as you might guess, by dinnertime, we were all tired from our busy day. For dinner, Blake chose for me to make spaghetti and meatballs...his absolute favorite.

As you can see, our day was very fun-filled. I still can't believe my firstborn is five years old. Where has the time gone?! Thank you to all of our family and friends (Allison, we got your message!) who called Blake to wish him a happy birthday. That was so special! Up next is Blake's birthday party on Saturday with our families. Blake chose a baseball themed party. Should be lots of fun!
