Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Happy belated Valentine's Day to everyone! Blake's school had "Wear Red Day" on Friday, and they picked winners from each class based on how much red you were wearing and how creative you were. Well, late Thursday night, we pulled this ensemble together! Red sweats, a red polo shirt, his red Superman cape, and a Valentine's Day crown made by me. He was beyond excited to wear this outfit, and he was even more thrilled when he found out he had won for his class!

Did any of you have any big plans for Valentine's Day? Michael and I celebrated on Friday evening by attending our Sunday School's Valentines dinner and a movie party. We had such a terrific time hanging out with our friends! They had Olive Garden catered for dinner, and we all watched the movie "Fireproof". That is such an awesome movie, isn't it? We had already seen it in the theaters, but it was great to see it again. A huge thanks goes out to our parents for keeping the boys overnight for us. We missed the kids, but it was so nice to spend time together...just Michael and me.

Saturday, we heard some great news on our house. See, earlier in the week, we had our first showing. The people liked our house and put an offer on it yesterday. We counter-offered, and they verbally accepted our counter. I guess they are out of town this weekend, but they will sign papers tomorrow and make it official. Wow, that was fast, and I can't wait to see the "SOLD" sign out in front of our house. I'll keep you posted!

On another note, I joined Facebook one week ago, and I have found that it sure is a fun way to keep up and chat with friends and family. Numerous people tried to persuade us to join, so I took the plunge.

Well, I better get going for now. Blake and Easton are not so patiently waiting for me to play Little Einstein's Bingo with them! I hope you all are having a wonderful and restful weekend!
